Dear parents, welcome to PGT Learning Hub (Punggol Group Tuition). Please be informed that the following terms and conditions apply when you engage our services for the tutoring programmes.
1) On-going lessons
Lessons are on-going every week except for selected public holidays.
2) Replacement Lessons
Replacement lessons can be arranged if your child misses a lesson. Each replacement lesson must be completed by the following month end to minimise gaps in learning. There is no refund of tuition fee.
3) Lessons during June and December holidays
Students who are taking PSLE examinations will continue their lessons throughout the June holidays. P1 to P5 students have the option to take a holiday break or pay only for the tuition slots booked during June and December holidays.
Parents are advised to inform PGT your June and December slots a month earlier for us to make further arrangements.
4) What if only one student is turning up for the group lesson?
The fee will be adjusted to one-on-one tuition rate. The group rate applies if a minimum of 2 students turn up for the lesson.
5) Notice Period for Discontinuing Tuition
4 weeks withdrawal notice is required for discontinuing tuition.
6) Tuition Fee and Deposit Matters
Tuition fees are payable at the beginning of each month. A one-time NON-REFUNDABLE deposit (2 lessons fee) will be collected together with the first month tuition fee.
The deposit collected will be used to offset the last 2 lessons upon 4 weeks withdrawal notification from the parents. Students must complete the last 2 lessons within the next 2 months. Any unattended lessons will be deemed as forfeited after the 2 months grace period.
7) Material Fee
A mixture of assessment books and selective worksheets for the tuition programme will be used. Material fee is chargeable and there is NO REFUND NOR RETURN OF UNUSED WORKSHEETS if the student discontinues his/her tuition with us at any point of time.
8) Payment Modes
Tuition fee is collected via PayNow or PayLah only. All fees are subject to review and revision.
PGT Learning Hub reserves the right to amend the above terms and conditions without prior notice.
Media Consent
The parent/parents consent photos, videos, messages in any communication platforms and result slips of the child/children to be used in promotional collateral and in social media platforms (if any). Personal information such as name and NRIC will be masked to protect the children's identity.
Classroom Rules
A group tuition dynamics is made up of the young learners' behavioural characteristics and learning attitudes. To make the learning journey pleasant for everyone, we urge parents to remind your child to
1) Be respectful to the teacher and everyone in the group by not hurling offensive names or make inappropriate and offensive remarks to anyone of us, regardless online or offline tuition
2) Be considerate by not producing unnecessary loud noise that distracts other students and causing bodily harm during lesson time (eg, shoot rubber bands at the students, etc)
3) Take care of the teacher's property by not vandalising them failing which the student must compensate back in the form a new replica of the damaged item.
PGT Learning Hub may reshuffle or remove the students from the group if they break any of the rules or display severe disciplinary issues at least 3 times in a calendar year.
